Ricochet posted a vile tweet about a wrestling fan with MS.

Ricochet Twitter Crashout and Key Points

  • Ricochet once again got himself in hot water with a now-deleted tweet where he mocked a fan’s multiple sclerosis.
  • Since signing with AEW in 2024, Ricochet has been involved in a handful of social media controversies.

Ricochet is under fire after a vile tweet where the former AEW National champion insulted a fan’s chronic disease. While spending his Sunday night crashing out in the comments, Ricochet took on his “haters” with one unhinged reply after another. In response to a backstage segment featuring Ricochet and the Demand, a fan by the name of “Sandi T. (@Sandi_BB_Lover)" commented “His acting hasn’t improved.” Seemingly desperate to upend what’s left of his career on a bird app, Ricochet posted a rotten response: “I’m glad you got MS.”

Fan outrage was as inevitable as it was furious. Sandi T.’s account has since been protected, and Ricochet deleted the tweet. AEW has not responded to a request for comment, this article will be updated if and when they do. Uninhibited by Tony Khan’s lack of leadership, Ricochet has issued a statement on his latest controversy.

Prior to deleting his tweet, Ricochet descended into his signature profanity laced public meltdown after once again working himself into a shoot.

“Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little b—ches who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little b—ches can’t take it when I do it back to people. F—king p—sies, everywhere. [sic.]”

The backlash followed Ricochet to a March 16 Twitch stream for AEW Games alongside Mansoor and Mason Madden.

AEW’s Ricochet Mocks Fan With MS, Follows Up With Meltdown

In terms of pro wrestlers working for national wrestling companies, Ricochet quickly reinvented himself as the biggest Twitter troll in pro wrestling history. It’s not even close. Ricochet takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to antagonize fans while mostly in character on social media. The problem is that Trevor Mann lacks the temperament, comedic ability and self-control to successfully leverage social media for his TV storylines the way Drew McIntyre does. As a result, Ricochet often finds himself marred in social media controversies.

Ricochet admittedly left WWE due to frustrations of being stuck in the same spot.

“I felt like I was starting over with the Bron Breakkers and the Ilia and the Carmelos and the new guys just coming in,” Ricochet told Chris Van Vliet. “I was gonna go to whoever ignited that spark in me again, and I felt like AEW could be that gasoline for my fire…I feel like I made the right choice.”

Carmelo Hayes, Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov have all surpassed Ricochet. Each won singles championships before Ricochet finally won the fifth-rate AEW National Championship in November 2025. Ricochet has not ascended up the AEW roster, and seems lightyears away from a main event, let alone a match on the main show of a pay-per-view. This past Sunday at AEW Revolution, Ricochet was relegated to the preshow.

Ricochet signed with AEW to salvage his legacy in pro wrestling. Instead, he has tarnished it beyond repair. Instead of thriving as one of the premier high-flying wrestlers in the sport, Ricochet makes more headlines on Twitter than in the ring.

Ricochet’s History of Twitter Controversies In AEW | 2024 - 2026

  • In November 2024, and in response to a fan telling Ricochet to put the phone down, Ricochet replied with a NSFW response, inviting the fan to his private parts.
  • In May 2025, Ricochet responded to a claim that WWE Superstar Je’Von Evans was the best young prospect in wrestling.
“Let me know when you win one, little boy. And yeah, if Tony asked me, I’d definitely beat yo ahh, cuh. [sic]” said Ricochet.
  • Evans fired back with a brutal roast of his own:
“You Learned From HBK When I Was 12 And Became A Multiple Time Champion. Now, You’re Wrestling In Front Of 2,000 People, Every Week, For A Crackhead."
  • Je’Von Evans has since been called up to the main roster, where he remains one of the best young prospects in wrestling.
  • In July 2025, Ricochet deleted a tweet in response to longtime production worker Christopher Dispensa. Dispensa filed a lawsuit against AEW after claiming Jon Moxley became physical with him during an unscripted moment, causing neck and shoulder injuries.
“We live in a world of p—sies,” read Ricochet’s since-deleted tweet.
  • On February 4, 2026, Ricochet reportedly infuriated many within WWE by claiming WWE tarnished his legacy. In response to fans reminding Ricochet of the damage he’s done to his own legacy on social media, Ricochet doubled down.
“Same thing happens to Balor, Shinsuke, Apollo and many others. WWE kills legacies and love of the sport. It’s what they do best.”
“I think the biggest misconception is that I didn’t enjoy my time there at all. That’s not true. I had five years there filled with great memories, great friends, and great moments.”
