In a significant move to bolster their backcourt, the Gonzaga Bulldogs have secured a commitment from veteran guard Adam Miller, who transfers in from Arizona State. Miller, a 6-foot-3 guard, brings a wealth of experience and a proven shooting touch to Spokane, aligning perfectly with Gonzaga’s roster needs for the 2025–26 season.

Miller’s collegiate journey has been eventful. He began at Illinois, where he averaged 8.3 points per game as a freshman. After a redshirt year due to an ACL injury at LSU, he returned to average 11.5 points per game in the 2022–23 season. His most recent stint at Arizona State saw him start all 28 games in the 2024–25 season, posting 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. Notably, he achieved a career-high 45.5% shooting from beyond the arc.

Gonzaga’s pursuit of Miller was strategic. With the departure of key guards Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, and Khalif Battle, the Bulldogs needed a guard who could provide size, shooting efficiency, and high-level experience. Miller fits this profile, offering a reliable perimeter threat and the versatility to adapt to Gonzaga’s dynamic offense.

Beyond his on-court skills, Miller’s experience across multiple top-tier programs positions him as a potential leader in the locker room. His familiarity with various playing styles and competitive environments will be invaluable as Gonzaga integrates new talent and aims for continued success.

Miller’s commitment marks the first of what is expected to be several transfer additions for Gonzaga this offseason. Head coach Mark Few and his staff are actively working to reshape the roster, ensuring the Bulldogs remain competitive on the national stage. With Miller’s arrival, Gonzaga takes a significant step toward achieving that goal.
