Fifth-seeded Louisville softball recorded a 6-5 win over No. 12-seed N.C. State on Wednesday, May 6, by walking it off in the bottom of the seventh to advance to the quarterfinals of the ACC Softball Tournament.

The Cardinals will face Stanford on Thursday, May 7, at Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia at 1:30 p.m. ET.

The softball game between No. 5-seed Louisville and No. 4-seed Stanford can be streamed on ACC Network at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET.

Who won the regular-season series between Louisville and Stanford?​

Louisville took two of three games against Stanford in Louisville, Kentucky, in the first series of conference play.

Louisville picked up an 8-3 win Friday, Feb. 27, and a 9-8 win Sunday, March 1. Stanford's lone win in the series came by the score of 10-8 Saturday, Feb. 28.
