AC Milan on the Cusp of Reaching an Agreement for Lazio Defender

AC Milan have reportedly made an important breakthrough in their attempts to recruit Lazio centre-back Mario Gila.

The Background

AC Milan Closing in on Gila Deal

As the source explains, Gila has already given his word to Milan, with the two parties reaching an agreement in principle. The Diovolo are now expected to accelerate their talks with Lazio.

The Transfer Fee & Real Madrid’s Cut

With only one year left on the defender’s contract, the transfer fee should be around €25 million. Moreover, Real Madrid are entitled to receive half of the figure thanks to a 50% sell-on fee.
