AAU Junior Olympics Track And Field 2026 Day 1 Schedule

The 2026 AAU Junior Olympics are finally here, where the top youth track-and-field athletes in the U.S. will compete for the opportunities to get their careers started on a major stage.

Age divisions ranging from 8 & Under up until 17 and 18-year-old runners will compete. Thousands of youth athletes will compete in the largest youth track-and-field event in the country.

Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa will play host to 2026's competition. August 1 is the first day of track and field action, where the decathlon, pentathlon and long-awaited racewalk will take place.

AAU Junior Olympics August 1 Schedule​

• 9:00 a.m. ET – Decathlon (15–16 Boys, Day 1)
  • Events: 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 400m
• 9:15 a.m. ET – Pentathlon (13 Girls, Finals)
  • Events: 100m Hurdles, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, 800m
• 9:30 a.m. ET – Pentathlon (13 Boys, Finals)
  • Events: 100m Hurdles, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, 1500m
• 10:00 a.m. ET – Decathlon (17–18 Boys, Day 1)
  • Events: 100m, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, 400m
