Bad news struck on Friday, as the Denver Nuggets finally learned what injury Aaron Gordon suffered in Game 6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
While the Nuggets were able to pick up a 119-107 victory to force a Game 7, Gordon's injury is a tough blow for Denver.
Heading to Oklahoma City for the winner-takes-all game, the Nuggets got bad news as ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Gordon suffered a left hamstring strain.
"Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and his status is in doubt for Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder," Charania shared on X.

This, of course, sent fans into a frenzy. The forward was pivotal to the Nuggets' 2023 title and has been a core piece of the squad since he arrived in Denver.
Averaging 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while converting on 45% of his 3-pointers, Gordon has been brilliant in these playoffs.
Ahead of Game 7, with extended rest, the Nuggets are set to list Gordon as "questionable" on the initial injury report.
"I’m told by sources that Aaron Gordon will officially be listed as questionable for Game 7 in Oklahoma City," The Athletic's Tony Jones shared on X.
The Nuggets will be closely monitoring Gordon's hamstring injury. It's not an issue to try and play through, as it can lead to further injury, though if Gordon can go, he absolutely will.
Denver needs the star forward to support Nikola Jokic as they aim to knock the No. 1-seeded Thunder out of the postseason.
Oklahoma City, fresh off a 68-win campaign, is the favorite to win the NBA title with the current field of teams remaining, though the Nuggets are aiming to play spoiler in that regard on Sunday.
