I just wanted to mention the point the makes Adrian Wilson special -

Part of Wilson’s theme was telling kids how he tries to live his life as if football wasn’t part of it. That was the lesson he wanted to teach...

“I try to take everything out of a football context and put it into the context of being a man,” Wilson said as he implored the athletes in attendance to consider life outside of sports.

Exactly right. We're tremendously fortunate that he's a Cardinal!

He wanted to be a Cardinal when it wasn't cool to be a Cardinal. He's never played the games over trying to get more money, or manipulating people to get a better contract. He just keeps his head down, plays his heart out, and always, always is a class act.
