As an update to previous stories, the Associated Press reports the Arizona Cardinals will visit with free agent CB Duane Starks (Ravens), DT Derrick Ransom (Chiefs) and TE Freddie Jones (Chargers) on Thursday.

Updating a story from yesterday, AzCardinals.com reports the Arizona Cardinals played host to free agent TE Freddie Jones (Chargers), CB Duane Starks (Ravens) and DT Derrick Ransom (Chiefs) Wednesday. Cards Head Coach Dave McGinnis has indicated he will not consider bringing in any player that could upset the chemistry and balance formed in the lockerroom in 2001.

so when ransom was drafted - he was a 6th round pick by the chiefs in 1998..although the following is 100% meaningless - I will post anyway:

cardinals round 5 - 1998 - terry hardy. Does anyone remember that he was our starter at tight end for almost 2 full seasons. I see no one picked him up this offseason.

cardinals round 6 - zack walz.

Zack was a good guy. Really cool off the field. Met him a handful of times through my furniture store and just running into him down near Mill Ave. He lived in those townhomes at 5th and Mill that are basically located on top off a parking structure.
