Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena is a legendary stadium in Germany and deserves something that fans can interact with.

Enter an “idea” submitted to LEGO.

This is a LEGO replica of the Allianz Arena, the iconic home of FC Bayern Munich, located in Munich, Germany. The real stadium holds 75,042 supporters and is world-famous for its unique exterior, made up of 2,874 inflatable diamond-shaped panels. This replica build is designed to capture the essence of that incredible architectural design.

After seeing LEGO’s other stadiums and buying the Old Trafford, I loved the idea of designing a mini stadium inside my house. As an FC Bayern Munich fan, I of course chose their home, the Allianz Arena to build myself. Also the building looks architecturally stunning.

This build is 76 studs long, 58 studs wide, and 18 bricks tall(23.94″ (L) × 18.27″ (W) × 6.80″ (H)). Although it does not have as many bubbles, I chose to make them a little bigger to truly show the diamond shape of each bubble, while still having enough to represent the quantity of the bubbles. The shape of the bubbles from the ground to the edge of the roof matches the curvature of the real stadium. I also added the sign on the stadium as well. Within the stadium, the seating is similar to that of other official LEGO Stadiums and I even created custom pieces to show the FC Bayern Munich Logo, their motto(“Mia san mia”) and the FC BAYERN MUNICH lettering across the stands. Furthermore, I added lights and the big screens to make the inside look complete. At the front of the stadium is a little sections which is removable, showcasing 2 statues and a sign. The sign is a little information sheet about the Allianz Arena, including pictures and facts. The statue on the left is of the famous striker Gerd Mueller, which shows him celebrating on a bronze base. The statue on the right is of the legendary FC Bayern Munich player Franz Beckenbauer, whose statue will be officially unveiled in fall of 2025. They are not to scale but show a little more than just the stadium, but also the culture of FC Bayern Munich.

This stadium is for all sorts of LEGO fans. The sports fans, collectors, and even people that enjoy well built architectural feats. It brings the iconic landmark to life and is perfect for any LEGO fan.

We have zero stake in this, aside of thinking it would be cool. The author of this post last touched a Lego about 10 years ago when his kids left one on the floor and he had to painfully pry it out of his foot. DO NOT LET THAT BE HIS LAST MEMORY OF LEGOS!
