The Ravens' off-season of change is fast-moving, and after opening off-season workouts early, Baltimore has entered the final phase and is cruising towards the mandatory mini-camp in June. That change included a new head coach, Jesse Minter, and a bunch of new faces after losing 12 key starters or contributors. While the franchise won't undergo a complete rebuild, Eric DeCosta has injected youth and dynamic playmakers on both sides of the football.
With Week 2 of OTAs set to begin, several Baltimore Ravens players are positioned for breakout campaigns in 2026. Here's a breakdown of the key names who could elevate their game and earn their first Pro Bowl nods in 2026
A Day 1 starter, Ioane plays the one position that could allow him to jump to the top of the list of elite offensive guards in the NFL. Impact rookies aren't always a guarantee, but the former Nittany Lions road grade represents the closest thing to a sure future Pro Bowler at his position. A physical and athletic marvel who's already made a presence at the Under Armor Performance Center, Vega Ioane is a Day 1 starter at either right or left guard. Over his final two seasons in Happy Valley, Ioane didn't allow a single sack and drew zero holding penalties.
Green got off to a slow start, but eventually found his footing down the stretch. Overall, Green played 713 snaps, finishing with a 46.3 grade from PFF, 3.5 sacks, 19 pressures, and 14 quarterback hits. With Minter entering the process, Green's production should jump tremendously after the Ravens signed Trey Hendrickson.
Jackson, an undrafted standout out of Illinois State, carved out a meaningful role in Baltimore on special teams this season. Jackson saw one snap on defense, but logged 226 special teams snaps, logging a 90.8 grade from PFF, and 13 special teams tackles. Jackson could break out in 2026 if Jesse Minter can find him key snaps.
Teddye Buchanan's rookie season ended after the talented linebacker was carted off early in the Ravens' Week 15 matchup against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Buchanan was forced to exit, and the Ravens brass initially feared he suffered a season-ending torn ACL. A rookie fourth-round pick, Buchanan injured his right knee on punt coverage in the first quarter and was carted off to the locker room. He left the stadium using a cane. A rookie starter, Buchanan finished with 91 tackles in the regular season with one forced fumble and one pass defended.
He was named AFC Defensive Rookie of the Month for October."
Last season, Hawkins had a breakout performance, recording 71 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and a team-high four interceptions for the Patriots. The 28-year-old started all 15 games in which he played and logged 836 defensive snaps last season, marking the second-highest total of his career. In his second year with the Patriots, Hawkins proved to be a crucial part of the secondary, leading the team in interceptions and ranking fourth in passes defended.
Baltimore was 24th in total defense (354.5 ypg), including 30th in the NFL vs. the pass (247.9 ypg). Any improvement starts in the secondary, and Nate Wiggins is the unquestioned No. 1 cornerback on the roster. In his second NFL season, Wiggins finished with 76 tackles (57 solo), 3 INTs, and 14 PD. His 27 PD over his first two years tie for second both in franchise history and among his 2024 draft class.
