BRADENTON, Fla. – Seven Baltimore Orioles pitchers combined to no-hit the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 4-0 triumph Saturday afternoon.

Opening Day starter Zach Eflin struck out four batters through three innings. Gregory Soto, Yennier Cano, Cionel Perez (two strikeouts), Bryan Baker, Roansy Contreras and Riley Cooper (two strikeouts) combined for six punchouts over the final six innings, each one lasting one frame.

Baltimore (13-14) scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning. Dylan Carlson and Livan Soto each provided an RBI single. Another run came in on a double play.

In the ninth, Griff O'Ferrall's sacrifice fly set the final.

Pittsburgh (14-13) started Paul Skenes fanned four batters in 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Thursday's Opening Day starter threw 33 of his 51 pitches for strikes. Peter Strzelecki took the loss after allowing three runs in the seventh. Hunter Stratton struck out two in the eighth and Colin Holderman fanned a pair in the sixth.
