Okay, you have seen the Commanders' 2025 schedule. So, are there five games that have your attention more than any others?

The Commanders are certainly going to be watched as much as anyone else in 2025, as only six games are scheduled for a 1:00 kickoff. The Commanders may be on national television for nearly two-thirds of their season.

What five games "MIGHT" be the most significant?

Well, it's impossible to know at this point, but here are the five that jumped out to me when I first viewed the schedule.

Week 2 at Lambeau vs. the Packers

Washington was 0-3 on the road against 2024 playoff teams. This game will be crucial for changing that trend.

Week 6 at home vs. the Bears

Ben Johnson spurned the Commanders, and the Bears will have waited an entire year to avenge the 'Hail Mary.'

Week 10 at home vs. the Lions

The Lions won't forget how they were surprised and embarrassed by the Commanders in Detroit in the 2024 playoffs.

Week 16 at home vs. the Eagles

It's the EAGLES!! In addition, with the tougher schedule, Washington may need a split against the Eagles to be a playoff team.

Week 17 at home vs. the Cowboys

Why would I want my team to play a game on Christmas, complicating our plans to be with family? In addition, being sandwiched by the Eagles, the Commanders better be ready for Dallas, or they could lose at home again this year to Dallas!
