The Arizona Cardinals did not make it to the Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots did. They play in Super Bowl LX on Sunday in Santa Clara. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. Arizona time).
Some former Cardinals players, though, did make it to the Super Bowl.
Between the Seahawks and Patriots, five former Cardinals are on their active rosters or practice squads.
Who are they?
Jones was drafted by the Cardinals in 2020 and played three seasons for them before being traded. He played in 14 games, starting three times.
Dobbs, the Pats' backup quarterback, played half a season for the Cardinals in 2023 while Kyler Murray was coming back from his ACL injury. The Cardinals traded for him before the season and then traded him away.
Johnson played in one game for the Cardinals this season. He was elevated from the practice squad by the Pats for the big game.
Tonga played for the Cardinals in 2024 and then signed as a free agent with the Pats last offseason. He played in 14 regular-season games and started eight. He did not have a sack in the regular season but did in the playoffs in the divisional round.
Sherfield is on the Patriots' practice squad. He played three seasons for the Cardinals from 2018-2020 after signing with them as a rookie free agent. He also was on the Cardinals' practice squad for a few weeks until the end of the season before signing with New England.
