The Miami Dolphins may have moved on from many of their best players over the last few months since general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley took over, but that doesn't mean there's no talent left on the team.
In fact, as the Dolphins prepare for their veterans to report for training camp on Tuesday, July 28, there are a few players in that group who could really impress and prove themselves as impact players in 2026.
While Miami's talented rookie class will get a lot of the attention over the next few weeks, some veterans could be ready for a breakout season. Let's take a look at the top five options before training camp starts.
Miami took Robinson in the first round (No. 21 overall) of the 2024 NFL draft after he played at Maryland and Penn State, where he earned All-Big Ten honors once. In two years with the Dolphins, he's appeared in 32 games and has recorded 47 tackles, 21 quarterback hits, 10 sacks, five passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Miami took Grant in the first round (No. 13 overall) of the 2025 NFL draft after he spent three years at Michigan, earned All-Big Ten honors twice, earned All-American honors once and won a national championship. In 17 games as a rookie, he recorded 33 tackles, five quarterback hits, two sacks and a pass defensed.
Savaiinaea played at Arizona from 2022-24 before the Dolphins took him in the second round (No. 37 overall). After finding success in college at right guard, Miami moved him to left guard during his rookie season, and he was graded as the worst guard in football. Now, he's moving back to the right side and is hoping for better results.
Washington played at Northwestern from 2019-22 and at Virginia in 2023, where he earned All-ACC honors and led the NCAA in receptions. Miami selected him in the sixth round (No. 184 overall) of the 2024 NFL draft, and over the last two years, he's appeared in 31 games and has caught 72 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns while also serving as their primary return man.
Dulcich joined the Dolphins last year after a collegiate career at UCLA and two stops in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and New York Giants. In 31 games so far, he's caught 67 passes for 799 yards and three touchdowns, but now, he's slated to be a team's top tight end for the first time.
