We have reached the end of another week in the NFL offseason. That means it is time to look around the NFC West to see what is going on with the Arizona Cardinals' division rivals.

What is new with the San Francisco 49ers?

Below are some stories from the last week about the 49ers for Cardinals fans to know.

Solid pass-rushing duo​


The 49ers acquired defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa this offseason in a trade with teh Dallas Cowboys. With him and the return of Nick Bosa, they are one of the best pass-rushing duos in the league.

Brock Purdy in 'NFL Top 100'​


As the NFL revealed players No. 90-81 for the NFL Top 100, quarterback Brock Purdy made the list. He came in at No. 85.

49ers assistant could be head-coaching candidate​


Every year there are coordinators and assistant coaches who become candidates to be head coaches in the next hiring cycle. Offensive coordinator Kly Kubiak is that guy for the 49ers.

Improvement expected from former first-round pick​


Receiver Ricky Pearsall has had an injury-riddled first two seasons in the NFL. However, he is expected to make big improvements in 2026.

Surprise prediction for unlikely fantasy producer​


Tight end George Kittle is the guy everyone expected to have good stats for the 49ers. However, one prediction has tight end Jake Tonges producing at a surprising level.
