49ers All-Pro named a finalist for the 2025 Salute to Service Award

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey had one of the best years of his career in 2025, as he totaled 2,126 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns on his way to a fourth Pro Bowl and fifth All-Pro selection.

However, McCaffrey's efforts off the field were equally as impressive, and it's that reason that he's been named a finalist for the Salute to Service Award.

According to the NFL's website, "Salute to Service is a year-round commitment to Honor, Empower, and Connect our nation's service members, Veterans, and their families. USAA and the NFL encourage military appreciation through the NFL's Salute to Service."

Other finalists for the award, are Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones.

McCaffrey's foundation, "23 and Troops," which was launched in 2021 to address PTSD, has raised over $500,000 for military support.
