49ers aim for long-term backup plan at QB with 7th-round pick

Finding a long-term backup quarterback was on the San Francisco 49ers' to-do list in the 2025 NFL draft.

They waited until the seventh round to find a signal caller where they selected Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke with the 227th overall pick.
