I don't see a whole lot of people laughing but I can tell you my angle that I've posted in many other threads. If it had all been left up to me this definitely wouldn't have happen and I'll tell you why. The game wouldn't have been in Dallas. It would have been in Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Sandy Eggo or Glendale. Stop putting the game in places that are begging to have weather interfere. Nature happens. Take the worse possible weather that you get at that part of the year and assume that it will happen. If so New York and Indy could be an even larger Charley Foxtrot than what we saw this year. Are you going to come back then and tell me that I couldn't have foreseen it and prevented it? BS. Ice Storms happen in Dallas in February. Usually, beautiful weather but Murphy's Law doesn't really give a flying hoot.NO I challenge any of the yahoos on here to describe just what they would have done to do it any better and if they are truly honest they will admit that they wouldn't have forseen it any more than it was.
When the Super Bowl was here a couple of years ago we had tha worst kind of weather that the Valley has at that time of year, drizzly and mid-50's. People still had a great time. People could get to the parties, the NFL Experience went off without a hitch and the people from NY and New England still felt like they were in the tropics. No one got hurt by falling ice. Those seats weren't in finished in Dallas because the ice storm delayed the work. That won't happen in the warm weather cities.
