The Westfield native and former All-American leaves West Lafayette as the NCAA's all-time assists leader and a Purdue icon. Now, he remains in the state to start his professional career as a Pacer on a two-way contract after being drafted 38th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Trey Kaufman-Renn, Minnesota Timberwolves

After four years at Purdue, Kaufman-Renn was drafted 21 spots behind Smith at 59th overall to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hailing from Sellersburg, Kaufman-Renn has not yet signed an official contract with Minnesota.

The sharpshooting guard leaves West Lafayette tied in career games started with Braden Smith, as he has been in the starting lineup every game over his four years at Purdue. He also was the leader in 3-pointers made. Loyer went undrafted, but signed an Exhibit-10 contract with the Clippers ahead of Summer League.

Oscar Cluff, Houston Rockets
