Movsar Evloev continued his effort toward a featherweight title shot Saturday when he handed Lerone Murphy his first loss in the UFC Fight Night 270 main event.

Evloev (20-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC) defeated Murphy (17-1-1 MMA, 9-1-1 UFC) by majority decision at The O2 in London, and once again his performance sparked debate about whether he should be next to challenge 145-pound champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Through 10 minutes, Evloev has chosen to kickbox with Murphy. It's not like Evloev looks terrible or is constant danger. He's holding his own, but Murphy is better here. If Evloev is going to start wrestling, round 3 is a very late place to do that.
