'Special' wonderkid set for Liverpool exit as fresh transfer news emerges
Lewis Koumas is on the verge of joining Hull City on loan
Lewis Koumas' season started out with Championship side Birmingham.
Most fans and journalists expected the young Welshman to quickly become one Chris Davies' most important players, and, although he played 25 games across all competitions for them, he only contributed to one goal.
This is due to the youngster being used as a left-midfielder rather than a left-winger which will have likely stopped him from getting forward as much as he'd have wanted to.

"Liverpool winger Lewis Koumas is due for a medical at Hull City today ahead of a loan move," he wrote.

Even though he's only 20 years old, he's already made his debut for Liverpool in the 2023-24 FA Cup with the attacker even getting himself a goal.
Last season, he became one of Stoke City's most important players as he played 49 games across all competitions while contributing to nine goal.
This form earned him another Championship move this season, and, even though things haven't gone all that well with Birmingham, a fresh start with Hull City could be exactly what he needs.
At the moment, it's unclear whether or not the youngster will get back to his best, but, with Hull's need for new attacking talent, this could be the perfect move for the Welshman.
