Strickland (31-7 MMA, 18-7 UFC) has long said he was the only man capable of defeating Chimaev (15-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) at 185 pounds. He proved that to be true with a split decision victory in Saturday's headliner at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
