Jürgen Klopp paid a brief visit to the RB Leipzig dressing room after their German Cup exit, and interim coach Zsolt Löw expects another meeting with him soon.
"We will surely talk about it again over the next days, and he will give his advice," Löw said.
Leipzig are among the clubs former Liverpool manager Klopp oversees in his role as Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer, and he was in attendance when Leipzig lost the Cup semi-final at VfB Stuttgart.
Ambitious Leipzig are going through a difficult season. They are now out of the Cup and in sixth place in the Bundesliga in danger of missing the top four which guarantee Champions League football.
Coach Marco Rose had to go on the weekend. Löw, a former assistant of Thomas Tuchel who is now part of Klopp's staff at Red Bull, has been appointed for the remaining games of the season.
"He encouraged us," Löw said of Klopp's visit. "He said he could clearly see what we want, he saw clear changes."
Leipzig have dismissed all suggestions that Klopp could take over as coach in summer, with supervisory board chairman Oliver Mintzlaff ruling this out "1,000%."
