Dricus Du Plessis offered a reminder about his place in the middleweight division with a bounce back performance from losing his belt vs. Kamaru Usman in Saturday's UFC Fight Night 281 headliner.

After having gold taken from him by Khamzat Chimaev in August, Du Plessis (24-3 MMA, 10-1 UFC) got back in the title mix with a unanimous decision victory over Usman (21-5 MMA, 16-4 UFC) at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. With two wins over the current champ Sean Strickland on his resume, the South African finds himself in a curious spot at 185 pounds.
