The Buffalo Bills have dominated the AFC East ever since Tom Brady left the New England Patriots in 2019.
Sean McDermott's team has won the last five division titles, and last season, it was done at a canter, with the division being sewn up mid-way through the year.
Will that be the same in 2025? Granted, the Jets could improve, and so could the Patriots and maybe the Miami Dolphins, but it all starts and stops with Buffalo.
For Pro Football Network's Kyle Soppe, who gives the Bills a 97.7 percent chance at making the playoffs, they are poised to make a mockery of their division again.
”Behind the superpowers of Josh Allen, the Bills have been (and remain) in position to win the first championship in franchise history.” Soppe writes. “Will they get there this season? Hard to say, but I see no reason to think they won’t again be in the mix. They are 35-7 at home over the past five seasons (two games better than any other team over that stretch) and benefit from an extra home contest this year.”

That home record is what jumps out. A 35-7 record in the last five seasons paints a picture of a team that is dominant at home, and as we know, division winners get a home playoff game to begin their postseason.
We know how key it is to get a home playoff game, and that is what made Brady and the Patriots so hard to beat; the playoffs always ran through Gillette Stadium (Brady had a 134-23 record).
Now the Bills have gotten a similar advantage playing at home, and yes, it hasn't translated into Super Bowl glory, but after last season, it seems to be getting closer.
But to be able to do that, you have to win enough games to make the playoffs, which the Bills, in 2025, barring a colossal collapse, seem a near certainty to do.
