The Alabama Crimson Tide's 2026 recruiting class was one of the best in all of college football.

According to 247Sports' Team Rankings, Alabama's 2026 class ranked within the top five nationally with 27 total commitments. The class also ranked among the best in the SEC, and featured four prospects who were rated as five-star recruits in EJ Crowell, Xavier Griffin, Jorden Edmonds, and Jireh Edwards.

That group, alongside others such as wide receiver Cederian Morgan, are all likely to make an impact at some point in 2026, but when looking at the remainder of the class, are there any others who could potentially see time as true freshmen?

Here are three to watch for in particular that could make an impact this fall, each of which were rated as three-star recruits.

Trae'shawn Brown, Running Back

While fellow freshman EJ Crowell gets a majority of the shine when it comes to Alabama newcomers at the running back position, don't sleep on Brown making an impact in 2026 as well. The Huntsville (Texas) product flashed his potential back during the spring, and even though the Crimson Tide's backfield is loaded with names ahead of him on the depth chart, don't be surprised if Brown still continues to emerge during fall camp.

Tyler Henderson, Wide Receiver

Henderson was one of Alabama's late adds to their 2026 recruiting class, joining the Crimson Tide following a pair of seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, the latter of which he had 67 receptions for 1,202 yards and 12 touchdowns. The junior is not likely to start the 2026 season as one of Alabama's top wideouts, but could definitely be a name to watch for to potentially emerge later in the year.

Tyrell Miller, Offensive Line

Miller was also a JUCO addition for the Crimson Tide, joining Alabama from the College of San Mateo in California. The junior was one of the nation's top rated 2026 JUCO interior offensive linemen, and is likely to be a key backup for the Crimson Tide this fall, one who could potentially see time at either guard or tackle.
