The Alabama Crimson Tide swept the Auburn Tigers during a three-game set on the road this past weekend.

Alabama entered the series as one of the top teams in all of college softball, as the Tide were able to roll past the Tigers with ease this weekend, despite Auburn keeping things close on multiple occasions. Star pitcher Jocelyn Briski was excellent once again Friday, as the talented flamethrower recorded an impressive seven innings during the 1-0 victory.

Here are three takeaways from Alabama’s sweep over Auburn this past weekend.

Briski continues to dominate on a nightly basis throughout her time at Alabama this season. The star pitcher delivered seven innings pitched while allowing just six hits, as Briski was excellent during the Tide’s shutout victory to open the series.

Briski recorded eight total strikeouts on Friday as well, as the pitcher continues to play a critical role on the Alabama pitching staff in 2026.

Kristen White delivers lone RBI during Friday’s 1-0 win​


White was able to come up in the clutch for the Crimson Tide in game one of this past weekend’s series vs. Auburn. The talented outfielder went 1-for-3 at the plate Friday, which included an RBI single in the fifth inning that would ultimately secure the win for the Tide.

White has been excellent at the plate throughout the entirety of SEC play, as the outfielder continues to cement herself with an everyday role in the outfield this season.

Ambrey Taylor stays red hot, records two hits Sunday​

Taylor has quietly emerged as one of the top hitters in all of college softball this season. The star third baseman went 2-for-3 during Alabama’s 9-1 victory on Sunday, as Taylor hit a towering solo home run in the fifth inning that added to the Tide’s lead.

Taylor’s batting average is currently up to .383 on the year following this past weekend’s sweep vs. Auburn, as the rising star has been nothing short of elite during the entire 2026 season.

Alabama will face Samford on Tuesday evening, as the Tide will look to improve to an overall record of 40-3.
