Despite the fact that everyone's questioning the red card call on Folarin Balogun in the USMNT win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, it seems like the one-game suspension will be upheld and he'll miss the next World Cup contest on Monday against Belgium.

And that means the man who's scored three times for the USMNT will need to be replaced. So who could be a candidate to step into the lineup for the United States?

Ricardo Pepi seems like a good candidate. He played for a few minutes on Wednesday and he's solid on offense as we've seen in his time with the USMNT.

I've seen Haji Wright floated out there as a possible replacement, although the issue is he hasn't played much. Will coach Mauricio Pochettino want to use him if he's not at his fittest?

Gio Reyna has played, but he's been good as a sub from the bench, so perhaps Pochettino would want to bring him in for energy against Belgium if the team needs it later in the World Cup game.

Who is the United States playing next in the World Cup?

That would be Belgium.

When is the next USMNT game in the World Cup?

It's on Monday at 8 p.m. ET, with the game taking place in Seattle.
