Popular basketball video game NBA 2K27 is in the process of revealing their top-100 players ahead of the game's September 4 release date. Thus far, three Charlotte Hornets have been listed from positions 100-51, as 2K counts down to the No. 1 position.
The first Hornet listed was recent trade acquisition Naz Reid, who was ranked in the No. 80 spot with an 82 overall rating. Last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the former Sixth Man of the Year Award winner averaged 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, one steal and one block.
Kon Knueppel was the next Charlotte Hornets player listed, as the second-year forward was ranked in the No. 66 position with an 84 overall rating. This is not long after Knueppel's 3-point shooting was ranked second among all players in the game. During his rookie season, the former Duke forward averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 steals.
Lastly and likely the final Hornets player to be listed, Brandon Miller came in at No. 57 with an 85 overall rating. Following the departure of LaMelo Ball, Miller is expected to lead Charlotte heading into the 2026-27 season. In 65 games for the Hornets last season, Miller averaged 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, one steal and 0.7 blocks per game.
