Tyler Reddick and the No. 45 team for 23XI Racing have been elite to start the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Reddick has won four of the first six races, including the 2026 Daytona 500 in February. However, the driver of the No. 45 car is set to become a free agent. Will Reddick return to 23XI Racing in 2027?

On the latest episode of Actions Detrimental, 23XI Racing owner Denny Hamlin was asked if he and Michael Jordan were "backing up the Brinks truck" for Reddick. Based on Hamlin's response, the 23XI Racing driver likely won't be leaving.

“Yeah, yeah, no doubt," Hamlin said on Actions Detrimental. "That will be done soon. [Tyler Reddick] deserves everything he gets. He's just done a phenomenal job.”

Reddick has earned the right for a big extension with 23XI Racing and the organization believes it will be "done soon." The 2026 Daytona 500 champion has proven why he is highly regarded in the NASCAR garage this season. For 23XI Racing, they hope Reddick doesn't stop at four wins in 2026.
