One of the most hyped quarterback prospects since Caleb Williams took the field in 2025, and his name is Arch Manning. While last season was rockier than some might have expected, there was a lot to like on his tape. There is a ton to like about Manning, but consistency will be key for him to take that next step and be on top of the quarterback rankings entering the 2027 NFL Draft.
Both things can be true: Arch Manning struggled with accuracy early in the season, and he was let down tremendously with drops by his receivers. A second season in this offense was critical for his development, and we will get the chance to see how much growing up Manning did this offseason, as Texas looks to be one of the favorites in 2026.

Strengths:
- Bucks the Manning trend: very mobile quarterback with surprising speed. Led Texas with eight rushing touchdowns
- Grew in awareness pre-snap as the year went on. More adjustments at the line of scrimmage
- Ball launches out of his hand. One of the prettiest deep balls in the country
- Tight release, always seems to be in rhythm, even with pressure
- Vanderbilt tape showed growth compared to the UTEP game. Led receivers to spots, threw his guys open, slid protections
- Took some huge hits this season, showed major toughness as the season went on
Weaknesses:
- Missed the easy throws early in the season
- Footwork is clean, but when the pocket collapses, the happy feet some out
- Needs to cut down on the turnovers in 2026
- Layering throws will be crucial to improving his completion percentage
