As soon as one NFL draft ends, the Philadelphia Eagles begin another scouting cycle. Howie Roseman and his staff never stop preparing for the future. Chris Kuper is the new offensive line coach in town. The Eagles have built one of football's premier starting offensive lines, but recent history has taught us that things can go haywire if injuries occur.

So, as is the case with every other NFL roster, the search for depth ensues. During Roseman's tenure, this scouting department has identified talent early. They develop versatility and rarely allow a position of strength to become a weakness. The 2027 class offers another intriguing collection of interior offensive linemen. Tyler Steen took a step forward last season, but adding insurance is wise. There's an old saying. Teams can never have too many good offensive linemen.

Whether the Eagles eventually target a guard, center, or another prospect capable of playing multiple spots, these players deserve early consideration as Philadelphia begins assembling its draft board.

Cayden Green, Missouri Tigers

Cayden Green transitioned smoothly to tackle from guard in 2025 and allowed just two sacks all season. If that development continues, expect his name to surface much earlier in draft conversations.

Green's long-term fit in the NFL is probably at guard, though. Don't be surprised if Philadelphia invests time in a predraft visit or a conversation at the NFL Combine.

Brandon Baker, Texas Longhorns

Texas plans to feature Brandon Baker at right guard this season, where his athletic traits could begin matching his tremendous upside. His technique still needs refinement, but the raw ability is evident.

Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning and Steve Sarkisian's offense will get looks all season. If things go well, a spotlight will shine upon the guys up front.

Greg Johnson, Minnesota Golden Gophers

Greg Johnson may be one of the safest interior offensive line prospects available. After starting at multiple positions during his career, he combines size, power, athleticism, and consistency into an NFL-ready package.

He has shown the ability to play both tackle positions and left guard with equal proficiency. Arguments can be made about where he ranks, but all agree he's worth extra looks this season.

Luke Montgomery, Ohio State Buckeyes

Luke Montgomery enjoyed a strong first season as a full-time starter after contributing to Ohio State's national championship-winning team. He's balanced in both phases and projects as a dependable NFL starter. Keep an eye on his teammate, Austin Siereveld. His is another name worth remembering as we navigate another NFL season.

Kade Pieper, Iowa Hawkeyes

After playing guard to begin his NCAA career, Kade Pieper is expected to move to center this season. He may project as both in the NFL for now. We'll see what happens.

Iowa continues to churn out NFL offensive linemen with machine-like proficiency. This seems to be another from the assembly line.

Iapani Laloulu, Oregon Ducks

Iapani Laloulu has already proven he can succeed at both guard and center. While he lacks ideal height, he consistently wins with leverage, strength, and physicality at the point of attack. That versatility alone should earn him plenty of attention.

The Eagles seem confident that Cam Jurgens is healthy again, but if concerns continue, they may want to keep their eye on some insurance. Laloulu is, without question, one of the best center prospects in this class.
