Night 10 match predictions

Here are my predictions for a stacked slate on Night 10.

*Semifinals and final listed below are my predictions based on the quarterfinals

Quarterfinal 1: Luke Humphries vs Jonny Clayton

Winner: Jonny Clayton, 6-4

Clayton has been in a slump over the past few weeks in the PL.

He's currently in third place, after being the stand-alone league leader about a month ago.

Having another quarterfinal loss would be consequential for Clayton, so expect a determined Clayton to show up against Humphries this week.

Quarterfinal 2: Gerwyn Price vs Josh Rock

Winner: Gerwyn Price, 6-3

Price has picked up 10 points in the last three weeks.

He faces Rock, who is currently in last place; however, he's strung together a couple of wins in recent weeks, but it would take a special performance to eliminate Price due to his own recent form.

Quarterfinal 3: Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting

Winner: Luke Littler, 6-3

Littler is coming off a rare quarterfinal exit, after losing to Gian van Veen on Night 9.

Littler has won four straight matches against Bunting and has won all four matches by three legs, so we could see a similar result this week.

Quarterfinal 4: Michael van Gerwen vs Gian van Veen

Winner: Michael van Gerwen, 6-5

MVG has produced special performances in recent PL weeks and is looking motivated and confident.

Van Veen was the runner-up last week in Manchester, but hasn't had any quality enough matches to suggest he can beat this type of MVG right now.

Semifinal 1: Jonny Clayton vs. Gerwyn Price

Winner: Gerwyn Price, 6-4

Aside from Night 3 this year, Price has dominated his rivalry with World Cup of Darts partner Jonny Clayton.

Expect a close match, but Clayton has trended slightly down as Price has overall played well in recent weeks.

Semifinal 2: Luke Littler vs. Michael van Gerwen

Winner: Luke Littler, 6-5

Littler has defeated MVG in four of their last five clashes (all in 2026).

MVG hasn't lost by more than 2-3 legs in recent contests against Littler, as he usually keeps it competitive, but Littler has had answers for whenever MVG has tried to apply pressure in their matches.

It wouldn't be surprising to see MVG win this time around, but history points toward Littler being the favorite.

Final: Gerwyn Price vs. Luke Littler

Winner: Gerwyn Price, 6-5

A win against Littler to complete a five-point night would be huge for Price.

In this scenario, he'd be even on points with Littler after the night, and would be in a position to finish in the top-2 by the end of the season.

Littler has dominated their rivalry, but Price is a player who can put history aside and become an outlier.

Three storylines to watch during Night 10

Here are the main storylines to look out for on Night 10.

Can Jonny Clayton end the drought?

After being unbeatable in the quarterfinals to start the PL, Clayton has struggled to pick up points in the past few weeks.

Can Price challenge Littler's spot at the top of the table?

If Price can manage to win another night, he'll put Littler in an uncomfortable spot in the points column.

Can Bunting defeat Littler?

Bunting has struggled against Littler and plays him in the opening round. He'll need wins like this to keep his playoff hopes alive, as we're past the halfway mark of the season.
