Another day, another mock draft.
Over at FanSided, our friend Sayre Bedinger published a three-round NFL mock draft that features one pick for the Denver Broncos. Following the trade for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, the Broncos do not hold first- or third-round picks in this year's draft, so their first selection will be No. 62 overall in the second round. After that, Denver won't go back on the clock until making a pair of selections in the fourth round (Nos. 108 and 111).
With that second-round pick, Bedinger's mock draft has the Broncos adding Missouri linebacker Josiah Trotter, the son of four-time Pro Bowler Jeremiah Trotter. The 20-year-old linebacker has been a popular pick for Denver in recent mock drafts, and it's easy to understand why.
Trotter (6-2, 237 pounds) spent two years at West Virginia before transferring to Missouri ahead of the 2025 season. He totaled 176 tackles (17 behind the line), three pass breakups, 2.5 sacks and one interception over the last two years. The Broncos don't have much long-term depth behind Alex Singleton (33 this winter) and Justin Strnad (30 this summer), so it wouldn't be surprising to see them use an early pick at linebacker.
Following the Waddle trade, Denver holds seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
