The Arizona Cardinals have a number of needs they will try to address in the 2026 NFL draft. They really could go with any position during the draft.
Over the next few articles, we will go over players who could be targets in each round.
Let's have a look at defensive tackles.
The Cardinals have taken a defensive tackle in two consecutive first rounds, but won't be in position to get one this time unless they trade way down or back into the first round. McDonald likely will be the first one off the board.
He had 10.5 tackles for loss for the Red Raiders after playing previously for UCF. He is a big dude at 6-3 and 318 pounds.
A little undersized at 293 pounds, he is very athletic. He had 3.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss in 2025.
Proctor met with the Cardinals. At 6-2 and 291, he ran the 40 in 4.79 seconds. He had nine sacks and 13 tackles for loss last season.
He is 6-1 and 327 pounds. He was a three-year starter and was team captain last year. He is a big, physical nose tackle.
He is 5-11 and 293 pounds. He was a two-year starter. He has played special teams. He had 6.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss.
He missed half the season with an ankle injury, but in that half season, he had half a sack and 2.5 tackles for loss. He also returned an interception for a touchdown.
