Well I hope Koa has enough mental toughness that my opinion doesnt impact his game. welcome to the proslol when you're crapping on someone's future let's remember that these are your opinions - not facts or forgone conclusions

youre not allowed to disagree with meI disagree with TJ on this one. He’s a bull dog. Already strong and has potential to get much stronger, never stops moving, smart player, very good passer inside.
Isn’t a confident outside shooter but he absolutely showed he can shoot outside, just lacks confidence in his shot.
Prior to the combine (which I think is meaningless) he was viewed as a certain lottery pick.
Great high upside, high floor pick.

Ah the ever present “other shoe.”Feels like other moves are incoming after this move. We will see
His first game was an absolute revelation. Never came close to approaching that again. Hes a talented kid. But he’s 6’6-6’7. And not a shooter. I’ll hope for the best, but have mid expectations. Here is some video. It doesn't look all gloom and doom for a 19 year old.

I thought Koa was u of a's baseketball savior and their fans were crashing out when he left college? what am I missing?Well I hope Koa has enough mental toughness that my opinion doesnt impact his game. welcome to the pros
Yeah I don’t think this is accurate. Precombine people that watched him said he was making a mistake coming out.I disagree with TJ on this one. He’s a bull dog. Already strong and has potential to get much stronger, never stops moving, smart player, very good passer inside.

I mean how many more 6’7” guys can we have lol. Could the suns be the reason 6-7 is a joke to describe basically nothing at all !? lolAh the ever present “other shoe.”
Koa was a great college player but for reasons I’ve stated numerous times here I can’t see him doing anything of significance in the NBAI thought Koa was u of a's baseketball savior and their fans were crashing out when he left college? what am I missing?
No he’s a much better offensive player. He has a good 10 footer and pretty good handle. So Oso lol

He has a nice pullup, turnaround jumper in the game. His phisiques remind me of AGordon and Anunoby. Might be an excellent pickHere is some video. It doesn't look all gloom and doom for a 19 year old.

Comps I’ve heard for Morez Johnson Jr., the Michigan PF/C picked by the Mavs at No. 9: Bam Adebayo and Al Horford
He is a very young player with loads of potential. He isn’t really needed on this roster right now. They can send him to g-league and let him develop that shot without pressure. The first notion that there was any chance he might not enter the draft was after the combine. Prior to his awful shooting in the combine he was viewed as a top 15 pick.
He supposedly reworked his shooting form for the combine, and it was a complete disaster for him.
AFTER the combine, absolutely there was a lot of talk that he should stay in college, including from me as a U of A fan because I wanted him back at the school because I felt like he would make them way better.
He needs minutes to get confidence in his jumpshot. I really hope they can get minutes for him. If they can’t, then, yeah it was a mistake by the Suns to take him and a mistake for him to come out.
But I don’t think he’s going to struggle to find minutes. This roster is almost completely lacking anything resembling a power forward, he can also play the five in small ball lineups, and if they can fix his jumpshot he could play the wing in almost any lineup.
The suns are going for smart players with high motors… he absolutely fits the bill.
High floor and if he can fix his shot, he could be a total stud. And this isn’t like Oso, where his shot is a total mess, Peat has shown the ability to shoot, he just needs to trust his shot.
