The FCIAC Girls Basketball Tournament tips off with quarterfinals Saturday, Feb. 28. The semifinals are Monday, March 2 at Fairfield Ludlowe and the championship is Wednesday, March 4 at Fairfield University.

• OUTLOOK - All the teams in the FCIAC took turns beating each other this season and the tournament is once again, wide open. Greenwich, Trumbull and Staples are ranked in the GametimeCT Top 10 Girls Basketball Poll. If you are looking at teams with championship droughts, Staples has not won since 1993 and Greenwich has not won since 1988.
