Thoughts about Brandon Pfaadt being moved to the bullpen-Shocked he wasn't optioned to AAA to work on some things. He profiles better as a starting pitcher than a bullpen arm long term
-Should enter in a start of an inning: has allowed a .375 AVG & .983 OPS when runners are on base vs .190 AVG & .673 OPS when the bases are empty
-Should only pitch 2-3 innings:
Pfaadt has allowed a 1.209 OPS when going through the lineup the 2nd time in a game this season; highest among qualified SPs in MLB

What a win by the Dbacks! What a road trip! Took 2 of 3 from the Mets, Phillies and Orioles. Today wow - Ildemaro Vargas delivering again, ADC - HUGE. The back-to-back doubles by Alek and Jorge! Bullpen lights out -Clarke, Thompson, Morillo. This team is playing great baseball.

Fernández was signed as a MiLB free agent in November.

Fernández spent 2025 with the Mets and Royals AAA systems.
