: Buccaneers star DT Vita Vea's preferred destinations are the 49ers, Chargers, Rams, and Raiders.
"He wants to go to a California team or the Raiders," per @FB_FilmAnalysis
He probably feels he already has enough leverage without using the Cardinal's.Surprised the Cards isn't his number one choice.
J/K

I wonder if California will come down as hard on him as they do for others with distracted driving.

#Saints DT Bryan Bresee, one of the linchpins their defense and a rising star, is feared to have suffered a torn ACL, per me and @MikeGarafolo. While tests are ongoing, it’s likely the former first-rounder is done for the season.
He wants something tweaked alright, his contractAdam Schefter

Bucs HC Todd Bowles said DT Vita Vea, who requested a trade this week, “tweaked something” and isn’t practicing.

I don't know. This even happened back in the 90s. The ACL can tear from stepping down at the wrong angle. So it's not just us
But this is happening a lot more now that players are bigger and faster

Anyone remember when Stephen Tulloch tore his ACL back in 2014 from a simple misstep during a sack dance.
yeah...I was thinking it would take 3/105 for Vea....and I think I wouldnt be mad if we paid itFor those who want to project Vita Vea's future contract...he is 30/31 range and probably warrants a contract in the 25 - 30 mil range based on comps and age. Chris Jones got a 31 mil deal at a similar age. Vea stills plays a large % of snaps in the 60%-75% range and can play all downs which increases his value over more traditional NTs.
