The Maple Leads hired John Chayka as their new GM. Reports are that Doaner won't be held on and might be looking at a leadership position with the Canucks.
I have to imagine that as soon as Doan saw, or heard, that Chayka was hired, he was ready to bail.
Man, I hope we get the Yotes back and Doaner can come home to be the Pres of Hockey Ops.

I think that explains why he was so good on the power play but relatively tame everywhere else. There's a lot of hope in the future for dallas. The biggest ? is whether they decide to bring back Robo or not. If they don't keep Robo they better get a haul.
