matt duchene has really picked up his game. he had an awful concussion at the start of the season and lost his 2 line mates from last year. he's finally settled into the team and is doing well on the power play in place of rantanen and hintz who are both still out.

that would be quite a shockwave. that's an upgrade for some things, but a downgrade for others, particularly scoring. Robertson's game has improved a lot this year aside from just goal scoring. His ability to forecheck and hold the puck to create scoring chances has been the most notable change. I'm still not sure why he was left off the USA roster particularly for power play opportunities where he is lethal.

I'm honestly starting to question if the stars even need to make a trade because their depth has really stepped up in light of all of the injuries to their starters. since they have some cap room due to Seguin's injury they should add someone that is on an expiring contract. assuming they don't trade Robertson.

Update: It’s believed St Louis/Buffalo went the distance on Thomas trade talks. Sounds like the Sabres aren’t willing to part with the necessary pieces. (Prospects, Player, 1st). Still teams nibbling, but the Blues are firm in what the return needs to be for the young center.

The Panthers lost again last night and my understanding is they've made the decision to be sellers as far as listening on pending UFAs, which most notably include the likes of AJ. Greer and Sergei Bobrovsky.
Bobrovsky has a 16-team no-trade list. Doesn't mean he will be dealt for sure, just means Florida is listening.

If Dallas & Colorado continue on their current point paces (124 & 114), a second round match-up would be the biggest regular season point total between two playoff opponents in the salary cap era.

Details: Tyler Myers to Dallas for a 2nd Rd pick in '27 and a 4th RD pick in '29.Plus Vancouver is retaining 50 percent on remainder of Myers contract which makes him a $1.5-million player this year and next.

After the Myers trade, the average size of the nine defensemen on the Stars roster is about 6’4”, 211 lbs.
