now it looks like the AVS are going through their first slump. hopefully the stars slump is out of their system. they've won 5 in a row, but they have still dealt with issues like blowing leads. but at least they are scoring now. they still need to add a top 6 forward. Rantenan is really playing well. everything just slows down when he has the puck on the power play.

sick stuff. again, proof that dallas need to add to their scoring and bolster their defense. going to be quite a playoff between them dallas and Colorado. probably 2 of those 3 get eliminated in the first two rounds and they will all have to play the other before the conference final.

Well stars GM Jim Nill stayed true to his word about waiting to make a trade until Tyler Seguin is reevaluated after the Olympics are over. Probably has a couple of scenarios lined up at this point. Makes me wonder what goes on behind the scenes during the break.

Unless there are more disciplinary actions coming down the chute from the NHL DoPS, the damage of 7 games between the Lightning and Panthers have resulted in:~$8K of fines for Florida ~$135K of fines for TBL with two players suspended for a total of 6 games.
