He's been pretty poor. I'll give you an example.

On one of the early drives LaPorta caught a pass wide open on a shallow cross. He ran right in front of White but White bought hard on the play action and let LaPorta run free when it was his man to pick up.

White should have been thinking "Why is LaPorta running a crossing route if it's a run?" and tracked him. There has been quite a lot of that. Things that don't immediately stand out when watching the game.

Mac Jones has been great though.

TBF the Bills and Lions are two pretty good D lines and injuries at RT haven't helped. But yes, the run game needs to improve.

Seem to be running less zone and more gap than they ran last year.
