It’s just so different now.

It’s like if your an all time great and you don’t win a ring you get made fun of on TV for the rest of your life.

I think if you take the money you complete the contract or make sure the team gets fair value in return.

I get its a business. I don’t think its right when players get cut and don’t get their money. It goes both ways. If you cut a guy you pay him for the whole contract. If you don’t have any protections on trades in your contract then thats on you.

I signed a contract for 6 years in the military.. I been sent all over the place.. Its part of the job and the contract I signed.

I guess signing a contract nowadays doesn’t mean much to people. No one from players to team owners want to own up to what they signed.
Different industries. It’s that simple.
