I'll take 89-73. 16 games over .500.

The D-backs have a solid offense if they don't try to hit every ball into the air.

And, what could be a solid starting rotation, expecially with Robbie's new windup.

I think the biggest question mark will be the closers -- the 7-8-9 inning pitchers,
especially with Archie nail biting us in the 9th.

91-71

Although the bullpen has me very nervous.

Fielding: I think we'll be elite
Hitting: Above average
Starting pitching: Good
Bullpen: .... ????

Need to wait for Spring Training to play out more, though the analytic projections at 79 wins for a team built with analytics make me nervous.

It's realtively early, but thus far:

Ketel Marte looks ready to pick up where left off last season.

Starling Marte and Kole Calhoun look like nice adds.

Ahmed looks okay but not great.

Escobar has been struggling.

Carson Kelly has been mediocre.

Peralta looks like his game has fallen off of a cliff.

First base looks to be a black hole, with Walker and especially Lamb looking awful.

Outside of Ray, the starting pitchers are really having a hard time getting outs without giving up rund.

Outside of Guerra and Chafin, the bullpen, particularly Archie, Ginkel, Rondon and Lopez, looks terrible.

All that being said, I will see if this sticks through Spring Training, or if at least some players show signs of coming around, before making a prediction.
