The only reasons Josh Allen is getting the love he’s getting by some is because he’s tall, white, & has an arm. Nothing to do with actual skill.

Is there a non-white player that has the same size/arm talent that is not getting attention?

Not pushing back...just curious.

With a coach whose last QB was a #2 pick, and currently leading his team to first in his division?

this is a good thing. it is early yet, now we can see how the kid reacts to a little adversity,..plus, maybe it reduces the chance the jets draft him at #1 so maybe he will be there when we pick, lol...dude has mad ball skills... but like many college QB's who put up numbers he is playing the game of inches. Passes that go an inch over the DB's hands or two inches in front of the DB.... NFL level DB's are faster and jump higher.

but I saw the same thing last season with Watson and so far he is doing well

Then why aren't we hearing about Wilton Speight from Michigan? He's 6'6, white, and has an arm. I mean, if that's the only reason Allen gets love, then Speight should be in getting love too.

He was productive last year. When you don't have guys that can get open and catch its hard to put up productive numbers.

Executive 1: Sam Bradford
"He reminds me of Bradford. Similar thin frame, arm strength and accuracy. I think Falk is tougher and has more of the 'it' factor."

Executive 2: Matt Hasselbeck
"He's not quite as athletic but he reminds me of Matt Hasselbeck. He's a smart, tough distributor and he's very accurate."

Executive 3: AJ McCarron
"I see a little of McCarron. He's a second-to-fourth-rounder who will start in time. I like Falk's makeup better."

Executive 4: Jared Goff
"He has the same body type as Goff and they have similar traits. However, Goff has a slightly stronger arm."
Executive 5: Kirk Cousins
"He reminds me of Cousins both on and off the field. Smart, tough guys with excellent work habits and leadership qualities. They have similar arm strength and accuracy on the field."

Summary: That's one vote apiece for Bradford, Hasselbeck, McCarron, Goff and Cousins.

Interesting quote from that article from Matt Miller:

"Josh Allen has rare traits in terms of arm strength and athleticism; after watching him in person I'd say his arm is the strongest I've ever seen. Allen is able to make difficult throws from any platform and can easily throw a 25-yard out route on a line from the opposite hash."

Once again I will pimp Riley Ferguson from Memphis 5TD in the first half tonight and has thrown two beautiful back shoulder fades for TDs. Kid has the size and arm for the NFL

Darold returns for his RS junior season IMO. I'm not high on Rosen or Jackson but if we take Josh Allen over either of them I riot. Rudolph doesn't seem like his ceiling is that high but he's solid. Neither him or Falk should be first rd picks.

my guess on Darnold is it will depend upon who has the top pick and if "experts" tell him he is a sure fire #1..... dude dont want to play for the jets

I been sayin for a few months this upcoming draft may rival 83... gonna be some solid QB's coming out IMO
