Garth-----the other side of that equation is, will our defense be behind last year's defense due to the loss of the two starting safeties? There are lots of questions to answer in TC this year, and we are now closing in on that last week before TC. If one listens to K9, he is constantly saying that our Defense is not as talented as last year's because of this. In any event, it is time to begin ratcheting up the interest quotient.

Don't forget the new DC & his his shaky past results too. With that said, my biggest question mark is our D, not our O like last year.

When the family went on vacations we would count down the sleeps till it came. My wife and I still do. Thus, 10 sleeps to go This is like watching water boil I can't stand the silence anymore!

Nine it is-----so I'm thinking today that I hope all the roster guys have had enough time to clear all the stuff they don't need out of their heads, so that they are able to accept the new stuff they do need. Its gotta be tough to take on a new system for everyone. Don't need old stuff hanging on and confusing things.

It's just weird to me why they wait so long to sign him. I know the other teams set the tone with their contracts, but how hard is it to get ours done first?

There is no urgency until camp is coming, why bother being first if you can work on everything else. The staff has been on the only vacation they are going to get all year.

Eight it is-----actually they have only 6 days to get him signed, because rookies report on the 23rd. Veterans report on the 25th. I'm beginning to get a little uneasy too. I would like to see this get done, (the sooner the better).

I am really getting anxious. I really want to see our O-line in pads, working against the 'D'. I am trying hard to envision them as they mirror and slide in unison as they protect our QB. Maybe if we all did this together, we could send some sort of unspoken thought that would pull them together and make it happen.

I travelled through the town of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. It was named by an Indian chief, famous but I forget his name. And Ten Sleep described the distance to either the Pacific Ocean or the Columbia River, eleven days ride.
