It's the best time in the year, at least at Rocco's Pizza & Cantina in Omaha, Nebraska: it's the annual Jell-O shot challenge during the College World Series, in which fans buy as many as possible in support of their school.

We've seen some programs absolutely dominate -- LSU broke a record back in 2023, while Tennessee used it as an NIL scheme. So what's the deal in 2025 with the CWS underway?

Tigers fans, you're doing some serious work. At the last update from late Sunday night, LSU is up by A TON: that would be 10,197 Jell-O shots, with Cinderella in both the tourney and at the bar Murray State totaling 5,396.

Some people are Callin' Baton Rouge, some are calling the Hogs, and some are calling for bail money. @LSUbaseball is in the driver's seat now! #cws2025#roadtoroccospic.twitter.com/mX4OHr2a0d

What is the Jell-O Shot Challenge at the College World Series in Omaha?

This all started in 2019 thanks to Rocco's, which tallied up the shots for each school they were purchased for. Plus, there's a charity element for each of those $5 Jell-O shots: one dollar for every shot is given to food banks, whether local or in the location of a College World Series team.

Who has won the CWS Jell-O Shot Challenge every year?

  • 2019: Arkansas
  • 2021: Mississippi State
  • 2022: Ole Miss
  • 2023: LSU
  • 2024: Tennessee
