“It’s brilliant” – Liam Rosenior names Chelsea duo he’s delighted for after Wrexham win
Liam Rosenior has expressed his delight at both Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo getting minutes in the tank against Wrexham.

The Blues almost suffered a scare in the FA Cup fifth round, but advanced into the quarter finals after a 4-2 win despite being taken to extra time.
Josh Acheampong, Alejandro Garnacho and Joao Pedro got on the scoresheet, whilst the Blues equalised through an own goal in the first half.
Liam Rosenior on Romeo Lavia and Dario Essugo
As expected Rosenior heavily rotated the side and made nine changes, ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with PSG.
Romeo Lavia was handed his first start since returning from injury in November, and came through an hour unscathed.
The Belgian understandably looked rusty and a bit off the pace, but Rosenior defended Lavia when asked about his performance.
Essugo made his first appearance of the season from the bench, and beautifully set up Garnacho’s goal, and Rosenior admitted afterwards he was delighted to see the duo get much needed minutes.
“Very good. It’s brilliant for Romeo to get his 60 minutes because we’ve done his rehab in a different way where we’ve been more patient,” he told his post-match press conference.
“We’ve built him up in a different way in terms of his rehabilitation and Dario the same.
“So for them to both get 60 minutes in today is brilliant because we’re going to need everyone for the run.”
Attention switches to the Champions League
Having survived a scare, attention now turns to the Champions League, and the majority of the starting line-up were rested against Wrexham.
The team will look totally different, and key players will be fresh for the challenge, with Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo all left in London.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Blues cope with the occasion, but they certainly have the quality to cause PSG issues.
