Lionel Messi came off the bench for Inter Miami during their Leagues Cup meeting with Club Leon on Wednesday.
Miami lost the match 3-2 and Messi was brought on after the first 45 minutes of action.
It was the Argentine’s first appearance since his father, Jorge Messi, passed away last week.
Jorge passed away in a hospital in his hometown of Rosario, Argentina, in the early hours of Saturday morning following a long illness.
Now, after Messi made his return to action on Wednesday, many people have taken to social media to show their support for the 2022 World Cup winner.
